Spanish Oaks Golf Club
Designed by award-winning golf course architect, Bobby Weed, Spanish Oaks Golf Club was lauded by Golf Digest in 2009 as one of the top courses in Texas and is surrounded by 10,000 plus acres of preserved Texas Hill Country land. Pool Pavilion
The Pool Pavilion provides the ultimate outdoor entertainment within the gates of Spanish Oaks. The Pool Pavilion features resort-style swimming pools, a sandy beach for the little ones, a sport court, sand volleyball pit, flat-screen television, and an oversized fireplace. Parents can relax in the comfort of the Pavilion with a clear view of the children at play while enjoying a casual meal at the pool grille.
Fish Camp
The Fish Camp includes a rustic bait shop, fishing dock and 4.5 acre well-stocked lake providing a welcome distraction – ideal for an afternoon with your kids or fishing buddies. The lake is also surrounded by hiking trails and natural stone park tables, perfect for a weekend family picnic.
Hilltop Parks/Hike & Bike Trails
Miles of trails weave through the community connecting hilltop parks. Walk to recreational amenities including the Austin Tennis Academy, Spanish Oaks Golf Club, Pool Pavilion and Fish Camp. Explore 100 acres of natural habitat along the banks of Little Barton Creek. 24-hour Manned Security
We staff both of our Gatehouses 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Gatehouse staff experience ranges from law enforcement, private business management and military service. Austin Tennis Academy
The Austin Tennis Academy is a program for junior tennis players who aspire to achieve excellence through tennis. It consists of a group of coaches, players and parents joining together to create a junior tennis community, dedicated to developing students to their fullest potential in tennis, academics and character.

Spanish Oaks is located in the prestigious Lake Travis Independent School District – one of the most highly rated districts in the state of Texas. The School District enjoys a tremendous sense of community and school spirit. Highland Lakes
Formed by dams in the Colorado River, the lakes stretch in an unbroken chain from Burnet, Texas through the Austin area, resulting in excellent access to the lakes and attracting thousands of boaters annually. Spanish Oaks is close to both Lake Austin and Lake Travis.
Hamilton Pool
Hamilton Pool is one of the best swimming holes and picnic spots in Texas. The preserve's pool and grotto were formed when the dome of an underground river collapsed due to massive erosion thousands of years ago. There is a 45 foot waterfall creating a great swimming hole with nature trails running along the creek. Hamilton Pool is a short 20 minute drive from Spanish Oaks.
The Backyard
Established in 1993, the Backyard is an open-air amphitheatre located just down the road from Spanish Oaks’ west entrance. Now in its new location, it has become a regional landmark drawing artists from all over the world, including Willie Nelson and ZZ Top. The facility is one of the premier venues in all of Austin, “The live music capital of the world!”
University of Texas
Austin, Texas is home to the University of Texas at Austin, one of the largest public universities in the United States and is the largest institution of The University of Texas System. Founded in 1883, the university has grown to a 350-acre main campus with 17 colleges and schools, approximately 24,000 faculty and staff, and more than 50,000 students.
